TNSC Chairman, Mr. Suchart Chantaranakaracha and TNSC Executive Director, attended the 4th Asian Shippers’ Meeting hosted by Korean Shippers’ Council during May 20-23, 2007 in Seoul, Korea. Other shippers’ council participating the meeting included Japan Shippers’ Council, Hong Kong Shippers’ Council and Macau Shippers’ Council. The meeting discussed various issues of common interest namely ocean freight charge and surcharge issue, terminal handling charge (THC), E-shipping/E-trading, anti-trust immunity to liner shipping issue, airfreight industry and air-maritime/port security.
