On April 7th 2010 Mr. Paiboon Ponsuwanna, TNSC Chairman welcomed Mr. Weerasak Kowsurat, Executive Director of the International Institute for Trade and Development (ITD) at TNSC Meeting Room.
On this occasion, Mr. Weerasak gave a lecture on the roles of ITD as the center of excellence in capacity building and potential enhancement for Asia and exchanged viewpoints with TNSC directors.

On March 23rd 2010 Dr.Phietoon Trivijitkasem, Vice Chairman of TNSC, gave a welcoming speech to TNSC members in the first site-visit and orientation in 2010.
The members later visited the Inland Container Depot (ICD) in Ladkrabang area where they were given a special lecture by Mr.Tongjit Boonyarit, Chief Officer of the Container Transport Bureau.
There were 41 participants representing 30 companies.

On March 30th 2010 TNSC organized an in-depth seminar on “The Analysis of UCP 600: the factor that solves L/C problems” at TNSC Meeting Room.
On this event, TNSC was honored to welcome Mr. Pichan Pitaksakserie, Division Manager, International Trade Department and Mr. Boonlert Supapha, Division Manager, Senior Trade Relationship Officer, International Trade Department, Corporate Business Group, Kasikorn Bank, Co.,Ltd as guest speakers.
There were altogether 20 participants in this event.

On March 31st 2010 the Thai National Shippers’ Council (TNSC) held its 15th Annual Meeting at Nabhalai Ballroom, Dusit Thani Hotel.
On this occasion, TNSC was honored to welcome H.E. Mr. Alongkorn Ponlaboot, Deputy Minister of Commerce as the honorary speaker on “Global Economy and the Competitiveness of Thai Economy”.
In this event, TNSC organized an exhibition where members were offered special services and rates from over 20 organizations including liners, commercial banks and the Port Authority of Thailand. There were over 400 participants.

On March 22nd 2010 Mr. Paiboon Ponsuwanna, TNSC Chairman, congratulated the Thai Garment Manufacturers Association (TGMA) on its 36th Anniversary. The celebration was organized at the Grand Ballroom, Conrad Hotel.

On Tuesday 6th March the Thai National Shippers’ Council (TNSC) organized the first site-visit for TNSC members in 2010. On this occasion Mrs. Runothai Mahaddhananond, TNSC Executive Director, gave a lecture on “TNSC and Logistics Development and Import-Export Solutions”. Later in the afternoon the members visited the Bangkok Port Customs Office in Klongtoey. There were altogether 45 participants representing 26 companies in the event.
