On Tuesday May 27, 2008, Department of Export Promotion organized seminar on "Regulations adjustment to support Thailand to be regional logistics center." Mr. Paiboon Ponsuwanna, TNSC vice chairman, was a guest speaker on “Thai regulations adjustment for rice fruits vegetable frozen food garment and textile” at Grand Mercure Fortune Bangkok Hotel. There were altogether 150 participants attending the seminar.

On Wednesday May 28, 2008 TTIS Co., Ltd. organized a seminar on “Logistics Outsourcing: Challenge of Modern Industries.” Mr. Suchart Chantaranakaracha, TNSC chairman, gave an opening address and presented on “Challenge in Modern Industry Administration.” A discussion on “Logistics Strategy in High Competition and Cost Crisis” was also held in the afternoon at Four Wings Hotel. There were altogether 200 participants attending the seminar.  

On Wednesday May 14, 2008 Thai National Shippers’ Council organized the 2nd/2008 Members Meeting and Orientation. The event was chaired by Mrs. Runothai Mahaddhananond, Executive Director, who gave a warm welcoming remark to the participants before briefing about TNSC roles and services and gave a presentation on” Logistics Tips.” The orientation was attended by 31 participants from 17 member companies at TNSC Meeting Room. After that, all participants were led to visit Bangkok Port and they were briefed by Mr.Pornkitti Rittirungrat, Chief of Control and Container Department of Port Authority of Thailand before an observation tour in Bangkok Port.

On Tuesday May 6, 2008 TNSC organized a seminar on "Labour Protection Act B.E.2551 (Second Edition)" which was honored by Mr. Sathaporn Charupa, Director of Labor Protection Bureau as guest speaker. The seminar was held at Narai Hotel. There were altogether 32 participants.

On Thursday March 27, 2008 Hong Kong Trade Association and TNSC organized a seminar on “Logistics – The Hong Kong Success Factor.” The guest speakers were Mr.Anthorny Wong, President of Hong Kong Trade Association, and Mr.Ir Paul Tsui, Managing Director, The Jenel Group of Hong Kong Ltd. There were 70 people attending the seminar which was held at The Library Room, Novotel Hotel (Siam Square).
