On July 12 – 13, 2007, TNSC and Department of Skills Development organized the seminar on “Logistics and Supply Chain Management” for members and the general public. Mr.Techa Boonyachai, TNSC Vice Chairman presided over the opening ceremony. After that, Mr. Praphan Rujiapa, lecturer of Thammasat University gave a presentation on “Logistics and Supply Chain Management” The seminar was hold at Rakangthong Room, Thansettakij Building. There were altogether 48 participants attended the seminar.

On Wednesday July 11, 2007, Dr.Phietoon Trivijitkasem, TNSC Vice Chairman congratulated Television of Thailand Channel 11 on its 19th anniversary. On this special occasion, TNSC donated a sum of money to the Fund for promoting and supporting peacefulness in southern border provinces. The pictures showed Mr.Pramote Rattavinit, Director-General of The Government Public and Relations Department received TNSC donation.

  On Tuesday July 10, 2007, Thai National Shippers’ Council organized the 2nd/2007 Members Meeting and Orientation. The meeting was chaired by Ms. Wipawee Pichpongsa, Deputy Secretary-General who gave a warm welcoming remarks to the participants before  exchanged views and experiences session at TNSC Meeting Room. The meeting was attended by 28 participants. After that, all participants were led to visit Bangkok Port. and they were briefed by Mr.Pornkitti Rittirungrat, Chief of Control and Container Department of Port Authority of Thailand before an observation tour in Bangkok Port

  On Thursday July 5, 2007, TNSC organized the seminar on “UCP600” for members and the general public. This seminar was honored by special guest speakers from KASIKORN Bank  namely Mr.Boonyong Puapongsatorn, Senior Vice President in charge of managing director of international trade center, Mr. Araya Neelagun, Deputy Vice President in charge of zone manager of international trade center and Mr. Pichan Pitaksakseri, Assistant Vice President in charge of zone manager of international trade center. The seminar was hold at Ballroom, Narai Hotel. There were altogether 242 participants attended the seminar.

  On Thursday June 7, 2007, Mr.Paiboon Ponsuwanna, TNSC Vice Chairman together with Mr. Techa Boonyachai, another Vice Chairman and Mr. Manapol Poosomboon, TNSC Secretary-General welcomed the Editorial Team  form Prachachat Business and discussed about the current logistics situation  as well as the possible cooperation between both parties in  creating a new Logistics Column in  their newspaper. They requested TNSC to provide  update information and statistics in order to help Thai entrepreneurs to have better understanding on Logistics in order to apply in their business.

   On Thursday June 11, 2007, TNSC organized the site visit at Maptaphut Port and Thai Prosperity Terminal Co.,Ltd. for members and the general public. The visitors were briefed by Mr.Sathan Siripun, Director of Maptaphut Customs House and Mr.Tawewat Mektavatchchaikul, Customs Chief Inspector 6 on import-export by pipe at Maptaphut Customs House. After that, Ms. Thunsita Setthathunyanon, External Relations Manager, Maptaphut Port and Mr. Arthit Chaba, Marketing Manager Department, Prosperity Terminal Co., Ltd., briefed about the work and services of the ports before leading a tour in the port areas. There were altogether 9 participants.
