On Friday August 3, 2007 Thai National Shippers’ Council organized the 3rd/2007 Members Orientation The event was chaired by Mrs. Runothai Mahaddhananond, Executive Director, who gave a warm welcoming remark to the participants before briefing about TNSC roles and services and how members can benefit from TNSC services at TNSC Meeting Room. The orientation  was attended by 14 participants. After that, all participants were led to visit Bangkok Port and they were briefed by Mr.Pornkitti Rittirungrat, Chief of Control and Container Department of Port Authority of Thailand before an observation tour in Bangkok Port.

  On Wednesday August 1, 2007 Miss Pinthip Nipatpichyakul, CRM & Corporate  Communication Manager, visited Bangkok Post head office to give flower basket to Mr.Pattanaphong Chantaranonwong, business news editor, to congratulate Bangkok Post on the occasion of its 61st Anniversary.

  On Wednesday August 1, 2007 TNSC and Walailak University’s research team organized the seminar on “Logistics and Supply Chain Management in Frozen Seafood Industry” for TNSC members and the general public. The seminar was honored by Asst.Prof.Dr.Chesada Loha-unchit and research team from School of Management, Walailak University and Mr.Techa Boonyachai, TNSC Vice to serve as  guest speakers. The seminar was held at   Rattanakosin Room, Narai Hotel. There were altogether 42 participants attending the seminar.

On Wednesday, July 25, 2007, Mr.Paiboon Ponsuwanna, as a chairman of the Committee on the Revision of the Regulation Obstructed to Industrial Cluster’s Export-Import, and Mr.Techa Boonyachai, TNSC Vice Chairman, joined a press conference on “The report of the Subcommittee on the Revision of the Obstructive Structure to Thailand Export-Import” at Red Room, Parliament 1.

  On Thursday July 26, 2007, Mr.Suchart Chantaranakaracha, TNSC Chairman presided over the opening ceremony of Annual Seminar of Logistics Digest Magazine on “Logistics Security & Efficiency Issue Secure Your Supply Chain & Fast Track Your Cargo” and guest speaker on "เจาะประเด็นมาตรการและแนวโน้มความปลอดภัยในระบบโลจิสติกส์ อิทธิพลและผลกระทบต่ออุตสาหกรรมในซัพพลายเชนในมุมมองของผู้ผลิตและผู้ส่งออก”. This seminar was organized by TTIS Co.,Ltd. and hold at Kanyaluk A-B Room, Four Wings Hotel. There were more 200 participants attended the seminar.

  On July 19 – 21, 2007, TNSC organized the site visit at Lao People's Democratic Republic and Socialist Republic of Vietnam on East – West Economics Corridor. This trip joined with Dr.Phietoon Trivijitkasem, TNSC Vice Chairman and Mr. Vichai Sriprasert, Director. The delegations were briefed and site visit such as, Mukdahan Customs, Royal Thai Consulate-General at Savanakhet, Savan-Seno Special Economics Zone, Inghang (The sanctuary), Lao-Bao Special Economics Zone, Hai Van Tunnel and Tien Sa Deep Sea Port at Da Nang City. There were altogether 27 participants.
