On Thursday August 16, 2007 Mr.Suchart Chantaranakaracha, Chairman, gave flower basket to Mrs.Pranee Sawangsalee, Managing Director of L.T.Intregration Co., Ltd., to congratulate the Logistics Time Magazine on the occasion of its 3rd Anniversary and of entering into the 4th year. Moreover, he was also a guest speaker at the seminar on “Three years of Thailand’s Logistics System Development: Progress or Stand-still” at Pimanmek Grand Ballroom at The Grand Ayutthaya Hotel.

On Wednesday August 15, 2007 Thai National Shippers’ Council organized the 2nd/2007 Entrepreneur in Bang Chan Industrial Estate and Members Meeting. The event was chaired by Mr.Somboon Juasathirattana, Director, who gave a warm welcoming remark to the participants before briefing about TNSC roles and services. After that, Mr. Praphan Rujiapa, lecturer of Thammasat University gave a presentation on “Costing for Logistics” at Bang Chan Industrial Estate meeting room, Bangkok. There were altogether 22 participants form 15 companies attending the seminar. Of this number, 4 people from 4 companies were TNSC members and the others were entrepreneurs from 11 companies.

On Tuesday August 9, 2007, TNSC sent members to take part in Badminton Friendly Match between 4 organizations which consisted of Bangkok Port, Thai National Shippers’ Council, Bangkok Shipowners and Agents Association and Thai International Freight Forwarders Association.
The match was held at badminton court in sports center of Port Authority of Thailand Club. The results were as follows:

             Winner was BSAA. 
             1st runner-up was TNSC.
             2nd runner-up was BKP.
             3rd runner-up was TIFFA.

On Friday August 24, 2007 TNSC organized the seminar on “Eastern Logistics Development Strategy” for members and the general public. Mr.Soomboon Juasathirattana, Director, gave a warm welcoming remark to the participants before opening the seminar. After that, the seminar was honored by representatives from Office of the National Economic, Social Development Board and Industrial Estate Authority of Thailand and Department of Industrial Works who served guest speakers. The seminar was hold at Sea Horse Room, Kantary Bay Hotel, Rayong. There were altogether 60 participants attending the seminar.

On Friday September 21, 2007 TNSC organized the seminar on “Incoterms 2000: Rules and Applications” for members and the general public. The seminar was honored by Mr.Boonlerd Supapha, Senior Trade Services Specialist, International Trade Department, KASIKORN Bank as guest speaker at Sukhothai Room, Narai Hotel. There were altogether 34 participants attending the seminar.

  On Monday August 6, 2007 TNSC Vice-Chairmen, Mr.Paiboon Ponsuwanna and Mr.Techa Boonyachai, were guest speakers at the seminar on “Improvement of Industrial Export-Import Procedures in Thailand.” The seminar was organized by the Sub-Committee for Improvement of Industrial Export-Import Procedures at room 306-308, Parliament Building Number 2. There were more than 200 participants from the Committee on Commerce of the National Legislative Assembly, representatives from various private and government sectors.
