On Tuesday October 16, 2007 Miss Pinthip Nipatpichyakul, CRM & Corporate  Communication Manager, visited Nation Tower to give flower basket to Miss Phimpakan Yansrisirichai, President of General News of Nation Multimedia Group, to congratulate Kom Chad Luke on the occasion of entering into the 7th anniversary.

On October 4-6, 2007 TNSC organized a trip to Malaysia and Singapore. All members of the trip were given presentations and visits of Port of Tanjung Pelepas, PSA Limited, YCH Co., Ltd and Freight Link Logistics Co., Ltd.  Altogether 17 people including Miss Wipawee Pichpongsa, Deputy Secretary – General joined this trip.

On Thursday September 27, 2007 Admiral Theera Haochareon, Minister of Transport, presided over the opening ceremony of “The 4th Thai Port & Shipping 2007” which was held between 27-28 September 2007 at Imperial Queens Park Hotel with the cooperation of Thai National Shippers’ Council(TNSC), Port Authority of Thailand and Thai International Cargo and Container Terminals Association(TICTA).

Mr.Suchart Chantaranakaracha, TNSC Chairman, and Mr.Surapon Vongvadhanaroj, Advisor to The Board of Directors joined the official trip of Minister of Commerce to Japan during 26-29 September 2007 to participate in the seminar “Japan-Thailand: The Strategic Economic Partner under JTEPA” at Sheraton Miyako Hotel, Tokyo.

On September 10–11, 2007, TNSC and Department of Skill Department organized the seminar on “Fundamental freight rates management” for members and the general public. The seminar was honored by Captain Jirapong Lakkham and Captain Siam Leknoi from Thoresen & Co (Bangkok) Ltd., Mr.Suwat Asavathongkul from CMA-CGM (Thailand) Ltd. and Asst. Prof. Dr. Taweesak Theppitak from Burapha University‘s College of Transport and Logistics as guest speakers. The seminar was hold at Rakangthong Room, Thansettakij Building. There were altogether 66 participants attending the seminar.

On September 5 – 6, 2007, TNSC and Department of Skill Department organized the seminar on “Banking Process for Import-Export” for members and the general public. The seminar was honored by Ms. Patcharaporn Jeenavijarana, Mr.Boonlerd Supapha, Mr. Araya Neelagun and Mr. Pichan Pitaksakseri from International Trade Department of Kasikorn Bank as guest speakers. The seminar was hold at Rakangthong Room, Thansettakij Building. There were altogether 71 participants attending the seminar.
