TNSC is a private sector institute for exporters, which was, established as a non-profit organization. Its main function is to promote and protect the interests of shippers, TNSC also enhances competitiveness of Thai exporters by focusing on international logistics and global supply chain.

The 3 main functions of the TNSC are:

1. Center for enhancing competency in the field of logistics and global supply chain for exporters.
2. Consultation center for members and general exporters.
3. Information center on Thai economy, export climate and logistics and global supply chain.
