On Wednesday September 24, 2008 Mr. Suchart Chantaranakaracha, TNSC Chairman, and members of Board of Directors held a press conference on "Export Situation" at TNSC meeting room.
The discussed issue was The impact from the increase of document fee charge and US financial crisis on Thai exporter. TNSC viewed that the document fee should not be increased at the moment as exporters have to bear more burdens.

On Tuesday September 23, 2008 Mr. Suchart Chantaranakaracha, TNSC Chairman, and Mr. Masato Tokuda, Senior Executive Vice President, Japan Institute of Logistics Systems (JILS) signed MOU on logistics development in Thailand. The first project was LQSP: Logistics Qualification System Program for Middle Management Level. After signing ceremony, experts from JETRO (Japan) made presentations on ASEAN Logistics Network Map and Green Logistics Business Practice in Japan. There were altogether 200 participants.
