On September 29, 2008 Mr. Suchart Chantaranakaracha, TNSC Chairman, and Ms.Margareta Funder, Officer, Learning System Enterprise Competitiveness from International Trade Centre (ITC) which was under UNCTAD / WTO, Switzerland signed MOU on International Purchasing and Supply Chain Management (IPSCM) at TNSC meeting room.

On September 26, 2008 Mr. Suchart Chantaranakaracha, TNSC Chairman, and TNSC members visited Toyota Motor Thailand Co., ltd. (Ban Po branch) to see administrative and manufacturing processes in its plant at Chachoengsao.

On September 25, 2551 Mr. Suchart Chantaranakaracha, TNSC Chairman, and members of Board Directors hosted the working dinner for Latin America businessmen and business women on the occasion of their visit to Thailand. The dinner was organized at Library Room, Dusit Thani Hotel.

On Wednesday September 24, 2008 TNSC was an exhibitor at "World Maritime Day." The theme of the annual exhibition was "Thai Marine and 6 Decades of IMO."  The exhibition was honored by Mr. Prasong Tanmaneewattana, Director - General of the Marine Department, to preside at the opening ceremony at the Marine Department.

On Wednesday September 24, 2008 Mr. Suchart Chantaranakaracha, TNSC Chairman, and members of Board of Directors held a press conference on "Export Situation" at TNSC meeting room.
The discussed issue was “The impact from the increase of document fee charge and US financial crisis on Thai exporter.” TNSC viewed that the document fee should not be increased at the moment as exporters have to bear more burdens.

On Tuesday September 23, 2008 Mr. Suchart Chantaranakaracha, TNSC Chairman, and Mr. Masato Tokuda, Senior Executive Vice President, Japan Institute of Logistics Systems (JILS) signed MOU on logistics development in Thailand. The first project was “LQSP: Logistics Qualification System Program for Middle Management Level.” After signing ceremony, experts from JETRO (Japan) made presentations on “ASEAN Logistics Network Map” and “Green Logistics Business Practice in Japan.” There were altogether 200 participants.
